Skipping, Running and Ping Pong:

Jump Rope for Heart Money collection

Our ‘Jump Off’ day was a lot of fun, and I congratulate the students and teachers for getting involved. It was great  to see a bunch of parents there for the lower primary session also. Head on over to the ‘Queenies Riverton’ facebook page for a collection of photos from the event.

I would very much like the assistance from a parent or two to set up a table before school to collect Jump Rope For Heart money. Perhaps you can ‘rope in’ a friend to help you. If you can help please email bridgeman.ross@qoa.wa.edu.au. Thanks.
Lap Running continues
It has been great to see so many students coming along to the Annex oval before school starts on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8.14am for lap running. This will continue this term for students, teachers and parents. It’s not too late to start – we’d like to see you there.
After-school Table Tennis lessons.
Irwan Budiarto, a qualified table tennis coach, will be offering coaching sessions free of charge on Tuesday afternoons from 3.10pm to 4.10pm in the undercover area starting week 2 (Tuesday 26th July). There are limited places, so this program will be offered to yr 5 and 6 students to begin with. If places become available more yr levels will be invited. If your yr 5 or yr 6 child would like to participate, please reserve their spot by emailingbridgeman.ross@qoa.wa.edu.au.
